Accessence was founded with a mission to transform spaces into accessible environments for everyone. Led by Ally Slade, a former marine engineer and a passionate advocate for accessibility, our organisation combines personal experience with professional expertise to deliver innovative solutions.
Ally’s personal journey through rehabilitation after a shock stroke he survived when he was as fit as an Olympian at 54 has provided him with a unique perspective on the importance of accessibility. This insight drives our commitment to helping businesses and organisations create spaces that are welcoming and safe for all customers, regardless of their physical abilities.
We enable you to comply with the law that ensures disabled people especially in wheelchairs aren’t disadvantaged by their situation thus enabling them easy access and facilities wherever possible even if complete compliance isn’t possible because of space or exemption. If you are exempt you can often still provide facilities that are safe for those of us who are challenged by our situation through no fault of our own, increasing your customer base for minimal outlay.
